By getting involved in our Bag2School collection you have an opportunity to sort through your cupboards and wardrobes and donate any unwanted textiles in the bag provided. In addition, it will raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse.

Trí pháirt a ghlacadh inár mbailiúchán “Bag2School “tá deis agat sórtáil trí do chófraí agus do vardrús agus aon teicstílí nach dteastaíonn uait a chur sa mhála atá curtha ar fáil. Ina theannta sin, méadóidh sé feasacht i measc na leanaí faoi na buntáistí a bhaineann le athchúrsáil agus athúsáid.
Is féidir linn glacadh le héadaí, bróga (ceangailte le chéile le do thoil), hataí, criosanna, málaí láimhe, scairfeanna & criosanna, bréagáin bhoga.
Le do thoil ,NÍL Duvets, Piliúir, Éadaí leapa, Cuirtíní, Blaincéid, Tuáillí nó Éadaí atá salach nó caite.
Caithfidh na héadaí a bheith ar ardchaighdeán le hathúsáid san Afraic, san Áise agus in Oirthear na hEorpa.
Gheobhaidh Teach LauraLynn 10% breise ó “Bag2School” fosta. Is é Teach LauraLynn an t-aon Ospís Leanaí in Éirinn.
Is é an misean atá acu ná “Tugann Teach LauraLynn aire do leanaí atá ag fulaingt tinneas a chiorraíonn a saol agus a gcuid teaghlaigh, trí chúram idirthréimhseach ardchaighdeáin, tacaíocht bhaile, faoiseamh, agus cúram deireadh saoil a sholáthar. Tá ár seirbhísí ar fáil do leanaí a bhfuil ardriachtanais leighis agus altranais uatha ó rugadh iad go 18. ”
Déan iarracht an oiread málaí a líonadh agus is féidir leat, ná déan dearmad iarraidh ar chairde ,chomharsana agus seanthuismitheoirí cuidiú fosta. Tig leat eadai a chur í gcineal mala a bith.
Beidh Bag2School ag bailiú ar 28/01/2020. Tabhair do mhála (nó málaí!) arais chuig an scoil agus cuidigh linn bailiúchán an-mhaith a bheith againn!

COLÁISTE AILIGH
are running a clothing collection
in conjunction with Bag2School.
We can accept adult and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, handbags, scarves & belts, soft toys
Please NO Duvets, Pillows, Bedding, Curtains, Blankets, Towels or End-Of-Life Clothing.
The clothes have to be of good quality for reuse in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
The LauraLynn House will also receive an additional 10% from Bag2School. The LauraLynn House is the only Children’s Hospice in Ireland.
Their mission is “The LauraLynn House cares for children with life limiting conditions, and their families, by providing high quality transitional care, home support, respite, crisis and end-of-life care. Our services are available to children with high medical and nursing needs from birth to 18.”
Please try to fill as many bags as you can, don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out too! You can return clothes in any kind of bag.
Bag2School will be collecting on 28/01/2020. Please return your bag (or bags!) to us and help us have a really good collection!

- Carpets, rugs and Mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)
- Soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing
- School uniforms with and without logo
- Corporate clothing and workwear
- Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material
